FC Barcelona Set to Play Historic Match at Partially Completed Camp Nou over the weekend

Barcelona have announced they are set to host at the still-under-construction Camp Nou on Saturday. The club will host the Bilbao team in the Spanish league over two years following their departure so building work could begin.

“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”

The stadium will not be at full capacity though over 45,000 attendees are permitted inside based on approved permits. Once fully finished, the Camp Nou is due to hold close to 105,000 fans, increasing from the former 99,000. The club said recent additions comprise an updated entryway for the team along with upgraded changing facilities.

Recent Activities

Barcelona held a fan-accessible workout at the Camp Nou on 7 November. Officials stated they were hoping for permission by UEFA to play their next home Champions League game facing Eintracht in December at Camp Nou. They have been hosting matches at the Olympic Stadium.
