Week six of the 2025 NFL season

Live coverage features text commentary of Sunday's games via various channels, starting with the Broncos-Jets clash in London (from 14:00 BST). Additionally, audio coverage can be heard through select stations for a separate game (beginning at 9 PM BST).

We're in the sixth week of the NFL season , after last week's discussion about the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles as a potential Super Bowl match-up, they both lost their unbeaten records.

Notable during those contests were the number of infractions both conceded. Philadelphia did so in key moments so they essentially beat themselves having led by two touchdowns entering the final quarter versus Denver, who play in London this weekend.

However it was positive to see how Denver's QB the rookie was able to overcome that deficit before lead three successful possessions on three possessions in the fourth quarter, securing the game by four points.

Denver boast the defensive player of the year with cornerback their star corner. They are number one in red zone defence, whereas the Eagles lead the league in scoring near the end zone, and the Broncos prevailed in that battle.

They had the Eagles' number in terms of disguised blitzes. They weren't always rushing extra defenders but they might position two LBs in the interior before drop them out and send a slot defender from the outside.

Early on of the season, it was noted on a program how Denver might emerge as the current year's dark horses. They ended last season strongly and excelled of building upon that.

Are the Denver Broncos this season's dark horses?

Recently acquired TE their tight end has stepped up big and recent running back JK Dobbins is a guy they believe in. He now ranks 5th in the NFL for rushing yards (over 400) as well as tied-fourth for rushing touchdowns (4).

It's impressive how head coach the Broncos' leader has "RUSH!" prominently on his call sheet.

This demonstrates that Denver are a team aiming to run first, because you can do a lot off the back of that. It reduces down the pass rush and maintains in positive down and distances.

It's also helped QB Bo Nix, who entered the NFL as the 12th overall draft pick in the prior draft, passing for 29 touchdown passes – just behind a star QB for the rookie record (31 in 2020).

Other elite QBs have the arm strength to pass all over, however they don't move in the same way as Nix. He boasts incredible arm talent, which is different, and he is so athletic.

His strengths include his movement, being able to pass while moving, as well as using different arm angles to make throws when he rolls out of the pocket, on rollouts. He can deliver that layered pass over the middle and past defenders.

As a rookie QB, aged 25, he displays a lot of composure in the pocket and is not really fazed by extra rushers. He aims to evade a sack whenever possible and can pass in tight spots. He possesses sharp intelligence and remains very decisive.

When you consistently rush it consumes time and makes the defence to be on the field extended periods, and if you have a mobile QB the defense has to defend the area vertically side to side. This proves draining.

The quarterback has pushed back with the coach during games at times and I think the coach likes that attitude, seeing him as such a competitor. In my view it's exciting for the coach to have a young quarterback that is similar to moldable clay. He can truly develop him how he desires to build it. I think it's a unique opportunity for the coach.

The head coach has won a championship and has passed a legend for career NFL wins (173 - tied 14th overall). He's seen it all. In my opinion the achievements the Broncos are experiencing on offence is largely down to his leadership, his schemes, his situational awareness – and the pairing with Nix aids make him into who he is.

You wouldn't want a more qualified person in your ear, to assist you during difficult moments and boost self-belief.

I have faith in Denver's defence, in the QB's grit and calm. But are they good enough to face a top squad at its best? Because that wasn't championship-level play from Philadelphia last Sunday.

Currently, I don't think Denver are incredible. They're performing above average, that's a solid position to be in the AFC West. The key is is maintain this trajectory.

They're really good at embracing their forte, which is running the ball, and that's precisely what they must do against the New York Jets at Tottenham. It's going to be a Dobbins-focused game, in essence.

New York have allowed 140 rushing yards each contest (sixth worst), five rushing touchdowns this season (10th worst), and they are the only team without a win a game.

Ever since the NFL started recording takeaways decades ago, the Jets are also the first team to go without a single takeaway in five outings, this is kind of shocking considering that their new coach Aaron Glenn a defensive coach at the Detroit Lions.

Patrick Mahomes stated Kansas City have 'already lost too many games' after Monday's defeat by the Jaguars.

After the upcoming matchup, Denver have a smooth-ish schedule up to their bye (in week twelve) - the Giants, Dallas Cowboys, the Texans plus Las Vegas Raiders prior to the Chiefs.

Looking at the AFC West, the Chiefs hold a losing record and the Broncos are even with the Chargers on 3-2 so they could challenge for the top of the West.

It depends on which form Kansas City shows up they face because Denver {beat|def
