'Living a Nightmare': Relatives of Unaccounted For Teenagers Desperately Seek Information After Ski Resort Blaze
The families of teenagers lost after a tragic blaze at a venue in a Swiss winter destination are enduring an agonising wait for confirmed information and pleading for information about their children online.
The blaze devastated the a popular bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Alps of south-west Switzerland, in the early hours of January 1st. Circulated footage depict the ceiling being engulfed in flames as bottles with sparklers are raised in celebration.
Officials have stated that it could take an extended period to identify the those who perished of the disaster, which killed numerous partygoers and wounded another over a hundred. A spokesperson said on Friday that 113 of the those hurt have been accounted for, with the process continuing to identify the final individuals.
