This "feedback was incredibly positive," states Rebecka.
One more missing element from the last game was a story mode, which has been restored in this version.
Criterion design director Fasahat "Fas" Salim is the person tasked with "guaranteeing those levels are as enjoyable and engaging as can be for the players."
In spite of claims that the scale of the project had created pressure for the multiple teams partnering across continents to develop the project, the director is upbeat about the process.
"Collaborating with different perspectives, varied backgrounds, it's a really engaging environment to be engaged with on a regular basis," he shares.
"This whole method has been a fresh take but also really thrilling because we are working with people from around the globe."
Regarding the anticipation on the developers, the director states: "We experience stress but at the same time it's motivating.
"It's a major venture. It's arguably the biggest that the majority of the team have ever been involved in."
New Developer Adds Fresh View
