The Initial Game Pass Titles of 2026 Show Xbox Remains Committed.
Everywhere you go, commentators persist in tolling the knell for the green team. Xbox was recently outsold by a relatively obscure console. Platform-specific outlets have started writing regarding Sony's platform unprecedentedly. 2025 was complete chaos for the tech giant's gaming arm. However, judging purely by what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it is apparent that the green gaming company continues to plan to draw people in with strong games on its flagship service.
The Available Now Titles
The two games that are immediately available as you read this, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, are not the headliners. The true anticipation is for the upcoming titles to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's truly noteworthy.
Upcoming Headline Games
On Jan. 13, the platform will add the underrated Star Wars Outlaws, a sprawling adventure that refreshes conventional open-world tropes with an intergalactic heist adventure. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village and its giant Lady Dimitrescu, previously described as "an ideal blend of frights and fights."
Compelling Indie Titles
Yet, the less-hyped additions coming to Game Pass soon deserve recognition. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler offering thrilling gameplay, arrives January 7th — and it's worth experiencing even if you missed out on the first Lost in Random game.
The game set in a ruined Britain from last year might get its hooks in you in about 15 minutes flat.
Atomfall, the stealth survival game by the makers of Sniper Elite, is another one to watch. Those with the top-tier subscription also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to anticipate.
A Robust Selection of Games
Ultimately, this isn't a revolutionary update to Game Pass, nor are they first-party juggernauts that justify the service in the first place. Yet, this selection are exceptionally strong. It offers a healthy blend of older titles you may have skipped and relatively recent releases that didn't get the attention they were due initially — rendering them excellent choices to get a second chance on Game Pass.
You might need to brace yourself to bid farewell to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, as it happens.
